An invitation to the children
During some one on one time with the children I took the opportunity to offer the children the sounds from the clip, “In My Own Time, In My Own Way”. A table was set up with a variety of drawing materials and clipboards with paper. After listening to the sounds and having a discussion about feeling sad I asked the children, “What is something that makes you feel better when you are sad?”
“I like to have my blanky when I feel sad.”
